What is the ACES?

ACES is the second largest club at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College In Green Bay, Wisconsin. ACES is an acronym for Adults on Course for Excellence and Success. Our club was designed to assist dislocated workers and/or returning adult learners in coming back to school. These students have taken the initiative to recreate themselves in order to be of greater value to employers.

With great excitement, we are giving employers in Northeast Wisconsin the opportunity to find these awesome individuals easier. In most cases, more information can be found on Linkedin about these individuals. Otherwise, the email provided will assist you in contacting ACES members, your future employees. We are confident that ACES will provide individuals who will improve your business’s profitability and enhance the mission of your company. In combination with the life experience they bring, you will find the credential they have attained or program in which they are enrolled in at NWTC. Thank you for checking our blog.

2011 Summer picnic at Green Bay Botanical Gardens

ACES members escaped the bonds of school for a picnic at the nearby Botanical Garden.  Stephanie from Festival Foods spoke on nutrition and the NuVal system that is used in their stores.  It provides a point system measuring the nutritional value of food—the higher the number on a 1-100 scale, the better the food/product is for you.  This system aims to help people lose weight, stay in shape and save money by getting the best nutritional value for their dollar. We had a beautiful day to tour the gardens after the presentation. This is just a small clip of the fun and great speaker we had!  Enjoy!
